Testimonies:
Kate Brown - "We are so excited all three of our kids placed in the reading competition!!! Thank you!!! It was a great experience. Our oldest son was determined to win and would read five hours a day in hopes of winning. All of my kids enjoy reading but it was really fun to have a motivational purpose."

Rules:
Rules:
- The Read-A-Thon starts at 12:01 a.m. on the start date and ends at 11:59 p.m. on the end date.
- Children may only record minutes read between these two dates on their Read-A-Thon log.
- Children must have you, as their parent or guardian, sign each completed log to verify that it accurately represents the amount of reading time your child has accumulated.
- Once your child has completed a log by crossing out each book icon that represents 30 minutes of reading time (5 hours of reading time total per log), they may begin another log.
- The day after the Read-A-Thon ends, you will add up the amount of time that your child has accumulated and recorded on their logs between the two dates. Then email the total number of minutes your child has accumulated to [email protected]. Please put in the subject line, “Total Reading Hours for [Competitor’s Full Name] - Reno.” If you have more than one child competing in this read-a-thon, please send separate emails for each child.
- Please note: Do not scan your child’s logs and email them. The logs are simply a tool for you and your child to keep track of and visualize how many minutes they have read.
- Once all the children’s total minutes have been sent in, we will announce winners for each group and send them their prizes they have earned.
- If you have any further questions, visit www.iotakappa.weebly.com/contact-us.html or email at [email protected]. Good luck!
